This chandelier is an exceptional and formally progressive representative of functionalism and the Bauhaus movement in 1930s Czechoslovakia. Its design is built on a fascinating interplay of symmetry and light translucency. The foundation of the fixture is a chrome-plated steel construction, professionally polished to a mirror finish. The unique lighting concept consists of two opal (milk) glass shades with a 31 cm diameter, cleverly positioned above and below the light sources. This arrangement ensures not only perfect light distribution throughout the room but also the elimination of any glare, making the chandelier a masterpiece of period lighting technology.
The item has undergone complete professional restoration. The fixture is fitted with 2 E27 bulb sockets and features new professional wiring that meets contemporary safety standards.
The chandelier has been fully rewired to meet current European safety standards. This professional electrification ensures universal compatibility and safe operation in electrical grids worldwide.
