This chandelier is an outstanding example of 1960s Czechoslovak design, manufactured in the world-renowned glassworks of Kamenický Šenov. The fixture embodies the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic, which at the time experimented with new textures and material combinations. The base is a dynamically shaped chrome-plated steel construction, professionally polished to a high luster. The metal elements are tastefully complemented by wood-imitation details, adding a warm organic accent typical of the "Brussels style".
The primary feature is the five cast glass shades, each with a 13 cm diameter. These shades have a richly structured surface that refracts light into fascinating patterns, creating a unique atmosphere within the room. With five light sources, the chandelier is highly effective as a central lighting piece for living rooms or dining areas.
The item has undergone a complete professional restoration. The fixture features new professional wiring with standard E27 sockets, ensuring seamless compatibility with modern or energy-efficient LED bulbs.
The chandelier has been fully rewired to meet current European safety standards. Due to this professional electrification and restoration, the piece is ready for safe and immediate operation in electrical grids worldwide.
