This floor lamp is a representative example of 1920s Czechoslovak artistic craftsmanship, reflecting the decorative elegance and emerging dynamic style of Art Deco. The dominant feature of the entire fixture is the vertical twisted (barley-twist) column, demonstrating the high level of turning and carving skill of the period. The entire body of the lamp is supported by a massive circular base resting on three intricately detailed hand-carved animal paws, giving the piece a monumental character and exceptional stability.

The primary material is solid oak, which has undergone restoration to revive its original polish, highlighting the deep color and natural grain of the wood. The lamp is fitted with a new, tastefully selected textile shade featuring decorative fringes, designed to harmonize in both color and shape with the historical character of the base. Thanks to the combination of genuine natural materials and precise carving details, this is a striking interior centerpiece that brings an atmosphere of interwar elegance to any space.

The item has undergone a complete professional restoration and features new wiring with two standard E27 sockets, allowing for ample and versatile room illumination. The fixture has been inspected and equipped with new electrical components meeting strict European safety standards, guaranteeing safe and trouble-free operation in contemporary electrical grids worldwide. This exceptional piece is an ideal choice for discerning collectors and lovers of historical interiors seeking a functional antique in top technical condition.
