This monumental floor vase from the 1920s represents a fascinating fusion of Art Deco and Central European folklorism, reflecting the peak of the search for a national style in Czechoslovakia through the application of traditional folk motifs to modern applied arts. The vase is made of ceramics and remains in its original condition, which authentically demonstrates the quality of period craftsmanship and preserves its historical patina.

The dominant feature of the piece is the rich folk decor set against a black background, creating a deep contrast that makes the vivid colors stand out brilliantly. The main body is covered in a dense pattern of stylized flowers and leaves in a combination of red, yellow, and green tones, while the neck and base are bordered by ornamental bands with lattice or diagonal patterns that geometrically separate the central floral motifs. The upper collar is decorated with a row of stylized tulips, an iconic symbol of Central European folk art that appears both traditional and strikingly modern in this execution.

Due to its scale and striking visual execution, the vase is an ideal accessory for historical or eclectic interiors, where it serves as a standalone sculptural object. It represents a valuable collectors item for enthusiasts of the interwar "First Republic" era and the artistic movement that sought to revitalize traditions within a modern context.
