This luxurious table clock is a masterpiece of the peak Art Deco period, dating back to 1920s Czechoslovakia. It represents a perfect blend of precision horological craftsmanship and decorative art, which reached world-class standards in the country during the interwar period. The clock case is made of walnut wood, with its grain masterfully utilized as the primary aesthetic feature.

The surface of the clock has undergone a demanding restoration to a high gloss using piano lacquer, creating a deep, mirror-like effect and lending the piece an unprecedented nobility. The heart of the clock is a fully functional movement with a quarter-hour strike, meaning the clock melodically announces every fifteen minutes—a feature reserved for only the highest quality and most expensive models of its time. Thanks to its dynamic styling and precise execution, this clock is not only a practical timepiece but, above all, a dominant artistic centerpiece for the discerning collector.
