This set of four dining armchairs is an exceptional example of premium Czechoslovak design in the Bauhaus and functionalist style from the 1930s. This set was manufactured by the renowned company Vichr a spol., one of the leading domestic producers of modern metal furniture, synonymous with top-tier craftsmanship. The chairs perfectly combine timeless industrial lightness with high user comfort.

The foundation of the chairs is an elegantly shaped cantilever frame made of bent tubular chrome-plated steel, which offers exceptional seating comfort due to its natural flexing effect without back legs. The original metal frames have undergone comprehensive restoration and have been professionally polished to a brilliant mirror finish.

The seats and backrests are crafted from high-quality beech plywood, while the elegantly shaped armrests are made of solid beech wood. All wooden components showcase a gorgeous, warm wood grain. During the professional restoration, the original wood polish was sensitively revived on all wooden elements, bringing back the material's natural depth, honey tone, and a subtle silky luster. The contrast between the cool chrome and the organic wood creates a perfect aesthetic harmony. The chairs are perfectly stable, structurally sound, and ready for immediate use. This complete set of four armchairs represents a valuable collector's item that will elevate any functionalist dining room, modern office, or minimalist salon.
