This restored pair of armchairs showcases a unique blend of materials and design. The original traditional upholstery has been expertly repaired, maintaining its authenticity, and the chairs remain comfortable and intact. The frame is made from nickel-plated steel, the seats and backs are upholstered in genuine leather, and the oak armrests provide a pleasing contrast.
These armchairs feature an unconventional design with flat, flexible steel, strikingly reminiscent of the work of the renowned architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The rare design originates from Brno, where Mies van der Rohe worked on the project and realization of the iconic Tugendhat Villa, adding historical significance and rarity to these pieces.
