This piano stool is an elegant and functional accessory from the Czechoslovak Art Deco period of the 1930s. It was manufactured at the world-famous Thonet plant in Bystřice pod Hostýnem, which served as a hub for innovation in bentwood furniture during the interwar period. The stool combines a restrained modern aesthetic with the precise technical solutions characteristic of the Thonet brand.

The item has undergone professional restoration, during which the original polish was sensitively refreshed. The frame is crafted from solid beech, while the circular seat is made of beech plywood. A key feature is the original steel mechanism, allowing for smooth height adjustment by simply rotating the seat around its axis. The mechanism is fully functional, stable, and ready for daily use.
