This desk lamp from the 1930s is an iconic representative of Czechoslovak design, merging the decorative elegance of Art Deco with the strict functionality of the Bauhaus movement. The fixture was designed with a maximum focus on workplace ergonomics. Its primary feature is the asymmetrical shade, brilliantly shaped to effectively direct light onto the work surface while protecting the eyes from direct glare.

The shade is crafted from tinted glass in a dark green hue (known as "state green"), the most characteristic color for these technical and administrative lamps. The interior of the shade is white, ensuring optimal light reflection and intensity. The robust nickel-plated steel construction was professionally cleaned during restoration, giving the lamp an industrial yet refined look. Unlike modern products, this lamp is made of honest materials that have stood the test of time and will last for decades.

The item has undergone a complete professional restoration and features new wiring with a standard E27 socket.

The lamp has been fully rewired to meet current European safety standards. Due to this professional electrification and restoration, the piece is ready for safe and immediate operation in electrical grids worldwide.
