This floor lamp is an iconic piece of interwar Czechoslovak design from the 1930s. Designed in the Art Deco and early functionalist spirit by the legendary designer Jindřich Halabala, and manufactured by the renowned UP Závody, this lamp perfectly blends the era's fascination with modern industrial materials and traditional luxury woodworking.

The structural backbone of the lamp is a slender stand made of bent tubular chrome-plated steel, which has been fully restored and professionally polished to a brilliant mirror finish. The main functional and aesthetic feature of this design is the adjustable shade height, allowing the glass globe to be smoothly slid along the chrome rod to customize the lighting experience. The design is crowned by a white opal glass globe shade with a diameter of 25 cm, which diffuses light beautifully into a soft, glare-free ambiance.

The base and the integrated accent table are crafted from premium walnut burl veneer with a magnificent, dramatic grain, giving this piece a distinct touch of uniqueness. The wooden components have been meticulously restored and lacquered to a luxurious high gloss, bringing back the wood's extraordinary depth and prestigious character. Complete with new professional wiring, this lamp represents a highly valuable collector's item that will stand out as a centerpiece in any sophisticated interior.
