This extendable dining table is a masterpiece of Czechoslovak design from the 1940s. It was designed by the legendary architect and designer Jindřich Halabala, whose work for UP Závody fundamentally influenced the form of modern living. The table combines the elegance of late Art Deco with emerging functionality, evident in its clean lines and brilliant technical solution for the extension mechanism.

The item has undergone professional restoration. The stable oak wood construction was carefully treated, and the original wood polish was sensitively refreshed, fully revealing the grain and depth of the solid oak. The table stands out for its practicality thanks to its adjustable width, which can be changed between 122 cm and 169 cm. This makes it a versatile piece of furniture suitable for both everyday family dining and festive occasions. It is an iconic piece representing the best of UP Závody production.
