This unique drawer cabinet (chest of drawers) in the Bauhaus style originates from Czechoslovakia from the 1930s and is a masterpiece attributed to the architect Hermann John Hagemann for the renowned manufacturer Mücke Melder - Fryštát. The cabinet was originally part of a set.

The cabinet is crafted from unique Ovangkol exotic wood veneer, which boasts an exceptionally striking and decorative grain.

The cabinet is framed by elegant profiles of tubular chrome-plated steel. The cabinet plinth is made of chromed sheet metal, which visually lightens the massive body. The drawers are constructed from a combination of solid beech wood and plywood, ensuring their sturdiness and durability for storing linen and other items.

The cabinet has undergone restoration, features a revived original wood polish, and the chrome has been professionally cleaned. It is ideal for those seeking functional and aesthetically refined storage space with high collectors value and Bauhaus history.
