This floor lamp is an iconic example of Czechoslovak interwar design, created by the legendary Jindřich Halabala for the renowned UP Závody in the 1930s. The fixture embodies the essence of the Bauhaus style, emphasizing geometric purity, functionality, and the use of modern industrial materials. The elegant tubular chrome-plated steel construction features graceful curves, culminating in a suspended opal glass spherical shade with a diameter of 25 cm, which ensures soft and even light diffusion.

The uniqueness of this model lies in its multifunctionality, as the lamp body is complemented by two circular side surfaces made of high-quality black-lacquered blockboard. These tables are tastefully integrated into the metal structure, enhancing the modernist character of the entire piece. The combination of the deep black wood, the mirror-like luster of the chrome, and the milky glass creates a timeless visual contrast that is perfectly balanced.

The item has undergone professional restoration, including cleaning and reviving all surface finishes. The lamp is fully functional and represents both a highly valuable collectors piece by one of Central Europe most significant designers and a dominant aesthetic element for sophisticated interiors.
