This chandelier is an outstanding example of 1960s Czechoslovak design, created by the legendary designer Jaroslav Bejvl. Manufactured in the prestigious glassworks of Kamenický Šenov, it embodies the signature elements of the Mid-Century Modern style. The base is a subtle chrome-plated steel construction, which has been professionally polished to a mirror finish during restoration. The centerpiece is the cast glass shade, which, thanks to its specific texture and thickness, creates a unique play of light and shadow, a hallmark of Bejvl’s artistic work.
The item has undergone complete professional restoration. The glass shade is in excellent condition, and the fixture features new professional wiring with a standard E27 socket, allowing for the use of modern LED bulbs.
The chandelier has been fully rewired to meet current European safety standards. This professional electrification ensures universal compatibility and safe operation in electrical grids worldwide.
