This iconic pair of Bauhaus armchairs comes from Czechoslovakia from the first half of the 20th century. The armchairs were manufactured by Mücke-Melder and bear the catalog number Fn24. The frames of the armchairs are made of tubular chrome steel and the upholstery is crafted from high-quality upholstery fabric.
These are professionally restored original pieces. The chrome on both armchairs has been professionally cleaned, and the new upholstery has been crafted according to original traditional methods. The armrests are finished with a piano polyurethane lacquer to a 100% high gloss. This highly popular type of armchair was also produced in similar designs by other significant Czechoslovak companies, such as Gottwald as type Ek 34 and Slezák as type K 29.
This pair of Bauhaus armchairs is ideal for those seeking design icons with a rich history and premium comfort in a fabric finish. They will be striking and timeless elements of any interior.
