This hanging ceramic relief from 1992 is a striking example of Czech postmodern ceramics, seamlessly continuing the tradition of the Brussels style while embracing a Mid-Century aesthetic. The piece represents a fascinating transition from applied art to free sculpture and spatial painting, a trend typical of artists working in Czechoslovakia during the late 80s and early 90s.

The central composition features a stylized landscape dominated by a circular sun element. The artist utilizes rich texture and relief depth to narrate a story of nature: the right side bears motifs of blooming flowers, the left evokes ripe ears of grain, and the lower section is filled with tactile pebbles. The entire scene is set in a massive dark wooden frame with a distinct patina, which gives the piece a brutalistic touch and firmly anchors it within a space.

The work is in its original, very well-preserved condition and features an artists signature (see photo), confirming its authenticity and artistic value.
