Model B35

This armchair is an absolute icon of world design and one of the most important models of the Bauhaus school. It is the famous B35 type, designed in the 1930s by the visionary architect Marcel Breuer. The chair was manufactured in the Czechoslovak factories of the Thonet-Mundus group, one of the few companies capable of mastering the demanding production of tubular steel furniture. This model celebrates modernism and the breakthrough cantilever concept, which offers unexpected comfort even without heavy padding.

The piece underwent professional restoration. The tubular chrome-plated steel was professionally cleaned to regain its mirror luster. The original fabric adds exceptional value to this specimen, as it has survived in very good condition and was only professionally cleaned. The construction is completely stable and solid. This is a highly valued collector piece that carries the authentic history and aesthetics of the interwar avant-garde.
