This chandelier is an exceptional collectors item representing the unique period of Czech Cubism from the early 20th century. Bohemia was the only region where Cubist principles—such as the use of sharp edges, crystalline forms, and dynamic plane fracturing—were so significantly applied to applied arts and interior design. This piece is therefore not just a lamp, but a distinctive architectural sculpture.
The item has undergone complete restoration. The construction, combining patinated brass and bronze, has been professionally cleaned to preserve its historical depth and characteristic semi-matte luster. Technically, the chandelier features new electrical wiring with a superior solution: a dual-circuit system. This allows for flexible lighting modes; depending on your needs, you can switch on only a portion of the bulbs for an intimate atmosphere or the entire chandelier for full illumination.
