This highly unique buffet is a masterpiece of 1920s French Art Deco. Designed by the renowned architect and designer Paul Follot, a leading figure of the movement and head of the Pomone decorative arts workshop at Le Bon Marché in Paris. This buffet is part of a complete French dining set (comprising two buffets, a table, and chairs) and represents Follots early, most esteemed period, where classic French tradition meets the new decorative aesthetic.

The structure is crafted from solid mahogany, veneered with exquisite thuja burl. The surface features precise marquetry and is adorned with unique bronze appliqués set with glass imitations of grapes. The exceptional quality is further highlighted by clear, convexly curved faceted glass. It has undergone professional restoration, including a sensitive revival of the original wood polish. The buffet is in excellent condition, using entirely original materials, and is fully functional. This is an investment-grade piece of international significance, representing the pinnacle of French luxury furniture.
