This chandelier is a monumental representative of functionalist purity and the Bauhaus movement in 1930s Czechoslovakia. With its size and austere elegance, this model was designed as a dominant lighting element for generous interiors. The base is a chrome-plated steel construction, professionally polished to a high luster. The primary visual and functional feature is the large-scale round shade made of frosted (sandblasted) opal glass, with an impressive 56 cm diameter. The sandblasted finish ensures a perfectly soft, velvety light diffusion, which is absolutely key to this style.
The item has undergone complete professional restoration. The fixture is designed for 3 bulbs, which, combined with the shades surface area, guarantees high lighting comfort. It features new wiring with standard E27 sockets.
The chandelier has been fully rewired to meet current European safety standards. This professional electrification ensures universal compatibility and safe operation in electrical grids worldwide.
