This table lamp represents one of the designs by architect Josef Hůrka for the renowned Napako company. This 1960s fixture is an iconic representative of Mid-Century Modern Czechoslovak design, a period when bold geometric shapes and experiments with metallic surfaces flourished. The lamp stands out with its slender, dynamically curved neck and conical shade, lending the piece an elegant and timeless character.
The entire surface of the lamp is made of gold-anodized aluminum, which creates a luxurious metallic luster while being highly resistant to mechanical wear. Anodizing was a popular 1960s technology that combined the lightness of aluminum with the exclusive look of precious metals. Thanks to careful restoration, the surface is clean and in excellent visual condition, while retaining the authentic patina and charm of the original piece.
The item has undergone professional treatment and features new professional wiring with a standard E27 socket, ensuring seamless compatibility with modern or energy-efficient LED bulbs.
The lamp has been fully rewired to meet current European safety standards. Due to this professional electrification and restoration, the piece is ready for safe and immediate operation in electrical grids worldwide.
