Johann Greiner was a famous Austrian watchmaker operating in Graz. His company was founded in 1823 and became a symbol of luxury. Greiner did not sell just any watches; it was a "watchmaking house" that produced and supplied the best machines for the aristocracy and wealthy townspeople.
