This floor lamp is an iconic piece of interwar Czechoslovak design from the 1930s. Its form masterfully balances on the border of elegant Art Deco and the strict functionalism of the Bauhaus school. This exceptional model was manufactured in Czechoslovakia by the renowned Robert Slezák (Slezákovy závody) company, which belonged to the absolute elite in the production of bent tubular furniture and lighting.

The main structural feature is an elegantly, continuously bent steel frame that seamlessly connects the light fixture with an integrated accent table. The original tubular chrome-plated steel has been professionally polished to a brilliant mirror finish, providing a striking contrast to the organic wood elements. The circular base and the table are crafted from high-quality blockboard with a gorgeous walnut veneer, showcasing a rich and elegant wood grain. As part of a comprehensive restoration, the original wood polish was sensitively revived on all wooden components, bringing back the material's natural depth and warm tone.

The lamp is crowned by a white milk opal glass globe shade with a diameter of 25 cm, which softens the light and creates a pleasant, cozy ambiance. The piece has undergone a complete technical overhaul including new professional wiring and is fitted with a standard E27 socket, making it compatible with modern or retro LED bulbs. This beautifully restored floor lamp represents a highly valuable collector's item that will stand out as a center-piece in any sophisticated living room, study, or salon.
