This dressing table is a top representative of Czechoslovak functionalism and Bauhaus design from the 1930s. The factory of Robert Slezak in Bystrice pod Hostynem manufactured this piece. Slezak was among the most important European producers of metal furniture. His furniture remains sought after for its visual lightness, technical precision, and ability to bring modern dynamics into an interior.

The item underwent a complex restoration. The tubular chrome-plated steel received professional cleaning to reach a high luster, creating a perfect contrast with the wooden parts. A unique feature is the refreshed original green color, which gives the table a unique character and an authentic period look. The glass mirror remains in perfect condition without any unwanted spots or damage. This piece is not only a practical furniture item but also a highly valued collector artifact from the First Republic era.
