Three-Arm Chandelier
Style:
20. century
Bauhaus
Material:
Nickel-plated steel
Milk glass
This elegant three-arm chandelier is an iconic representative of Bauhaus functionalist design, dating back to the 1930s. It was manufactured in Czechoslovakia, which during this era was a world leader in the production of modern lighting. The nickel-plated steel structure features strictly geometric lines that have undergone professional cleaning as part of expert restoration. As a result, the metal has retained its authentic, cool silvery luster, perfectly complementing the fixtures modern character.
The chandelier is fitted with three milk glass shades, ensuring a uniform and pleasantly soft diffusion of light throughout the interior. An exceptional technical detail that confirms the practical focus of period design is the integrated electrical outlet located at the bottom. In historical dining rooms, this feature served to easily plug in tabletop appliances directly above the dining table. As part of a complete restoration, new wiring has been installed, making the chandelier perfectly safe and fully ready for installation in both modern and period interiors.
